What Gift Shall I Give?

Remember the Little Drummer Boy animation? He was so angry and mistrustful in the beginning - and it seems rightfully so. But in the end, after pure love moved him to save a friend, Jesus renewed the drummer boy. Originally, he had no idea what to give "the Babe". So the Little Drummer Boy gave all he had - he used his God given talent to play for baby Jesus. Today's reflection invites you to ponder the question, "What will I give to God?" or "God, what of me would You like me to give You?". If we tend to always ask for something from God, perhaps it's time to turn the tables. Even as humans, we give gifts to our parents. How much more so, does God deserve gifts from us?
